SoCal Sagehen Day is a half-day event designed for local Southern California high school seniors and juniors that are either first-generation college students and/or from underrepresented cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds.
This program provides an opportunity for students who may not otherwise have the chance to visit Pitzer College, offering them a unique opportunity to experience campus life firsthand. Participants will engage in a guided tour, attend information sessions on college admissions and financial aid, and connect with current Pitzer students.

What To Expect
Campus Tour
Experience a guided tour of our vibrant campus, explore academic programs, and discover the extensive resources available across the five Claremont Colleges. Then join us for an information session where you'll learn about Pitzer College's core values, admissions process, and financial aid opportunities.
Financial Aid Presentation
Attend a presentation with a member of our Pitzer Financial Aid Office. This presentation is designed to help you navigate the funding options available for your education. We'll cover grants, loans, and tips for completing the FAFSA. Don't miss this opportunity to get your questions answered by our Financial Aid office.
Case Studies
Join us for the College Writing Case Studies Workshop, where you’ll be able to see real-world examples of previous Pitzer College applications.
